Dennis & I meet while his cousin was in the hospital where I worked at the time. My friend dated Leo, his cousin and thought Dennis & I should get together. The fix-up worked and we were married almost 2 yrs later in 1974.
Dennis loved his cars, fixing them, driving them., going to car shows. We finally were able to afford an almost classic, 1977 Chrysler Cordoba. He won several awards at the car shows with it.
In 1997, shortly after his 50th birthday, he was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, a horrible cancer from asbestos exposure. which attacks your lungs at first. Dennis passed away in January of 1999.
